Maybe the 'originator' is pulling your leg rather than having a proper dig?

Don't think I've ever had a go at you have I? Certainly not for your recent stance even if I have disagreed with you.

You must admit, your absence from this board last night and this morning was unusual and considering the circumstances I thought it prime time for a bit of fun and mischief. Hope you take it in the way it was intended.

I don't quite think I said that did I? I was referring to the fact that certain people on here have obviously taken umbrage to my opinions and would be point scoring at the first opportunity.

Not sure if my missis would be right happy if I sacked her off for an angry metalhead (is that the correct term?)

It's not a group invite but you can come if you like. Some of the bands I like are heavily influenced by prog rock so you might like it.

So you just post stuff to provoke umbrage then.

"I put it down to the awful music he listens to, it'd make me that way too"

It's a very good point. I'd be in a shocking mood. Can you imagine Carcass at 8 in the morning? Just tried them at a reasonable time in the afternoon and I couldn't last more than 5 seconds. I do, however, think he's got a point about elbow. Today is elbow. Look out of the window, that's elbow.

Apart from the angry bit. I'm as easy going as anyone in "real" life. I just wear my heart on my sleeve when it comes to certain subjects.

Loneliness of the Tower Crane Driver. Epic.

I accept some stuff can be but there best stuff is pretty anthemic and some of the lyrics are brilliant. There's a track called The Night Will Always Win about missing someone you loved. Best advice I've ever had and it helped me deal with tragic loss of one of my best mates a couple of years ago.

    'I miss your stupid face
    I miss your bad advice
I tried to clothe your bones with scratches
Super 8s, exaggerated stories and old tunes
    But never by the moon
But never the state that I'm in
    The night will always win'

Sorry I've gone a bit too deep there

    There is a brilliant track

The antithesis of Elbow and Carcass come to that. New Spook School video released today. Sunshine and lollipops, that's what I like in music.
