....he said he had decided after the Bournemouth game that he had to evolve the team again. Seemed to suggest it was then that he realised that he couldn't just carry on as before. Fair play to the guy for sticking with last seasons heroes but then also being brave enough to decide to change.

As for last night a pretty good performance I thought. I think Butland will be a good signing and Ramage suddenly looks like a really good player. Didn't feel like Fox did an awful lot, therefore not an awful lot wrong?.

McCourt was a real joy to watch, especially first half. O'Grady, Scotland and Pedersen are all very good at this level.

Also it felt really good how we responded as fans to going a goal behind. A great reaction.

Hopefully we can somehow get something on Saturday and then the really serious games for us come after the international break.

Left the ground with a lot more optimism than I had arriving.

It hasn't been just a case of sticking with last season's paying staff though. He should've stuck with last seasons tactics/attitude towards the opposition. It's not all been down to the players and Flicker has to accept his criticisms of this. Having said that, we all need to move on now. Onwards and upwards.

Think he suddenly realised he was quick marching to the manager's graveyard.

just like keith did but flickers got in people to add value rather than just journeymen like greening and buzascy or whatever his name was. Althoug wasnt sure about fox?? Didnt seem to do a great deal but we did look more solid in the middle. It helped defending from the front for a change. I still thought we let too many second bounces and 50/50 balls go unchallenged.
