Just topside of Oughtibridge (near Wharncliffe Side). Thats the most southerly point in the district. Nothing south of that counts for anything
Give over, Immingham's never been in the Midlands. Yorkshire, Lancashire and Lincolnshire have always been in the North. Derbyshire and Notts are North Midlands
Haha. Immingham's on the Humber even further north than us. My uncle lives in Lincoln and he considers himself a Northerner.
Politically.......there is a straight diagonal line across the country from West to East between the Severn Estuary and the Wash.........anything below that line is considered the south
What I find strange is the fact that northerners talk about the north south divide on a regular basis whilst southerners never mention it
