Every track on the album's sheer quality...But the Bossman says...There can only be one song in your life...
Will always be The Hammond song by The Roches...first heard in Selectadisc Nottingham in 1979...is that Robert Fripp, we said?..surely it was....sending sweet notes from a heavenly place amidst even more heavenly female harmonies.....you had to be there...
Yes mate, probably the best album The Who ever did but if you're tempted to invest get the original recording (the one with Jimmy sat on a scooter with his back to you). All time classic album.
OK thought of one, its one I'd recommend to Someone else and I'm presuming they're not neccesarily Boss fans so its "Waiting on a sunny day"
might check that out, cos even tho I'm a massive Springsteen fan(like Bossman), I love loads of different music...my fave Who song is Real Good Looking Boy, from those I've heard...I also like After The Fire and The Pride You Hide by Rodger Daltrey......Sorry for going off subject Bossman....
He's a shade more subtle when he's sticking his solo amidst a trio of wailing New Jersey sisters. But he can make it scream for sure. I love Bowie telling him to shut up at the conclusion of It's No Game on Scary Monsters. He sounds beautifully vicious there!!
