Had a bad game today (on purpose?) but as been their motm last two games. Glad to see the boo boys didn't come out in force today by the way he got a few but nowt to write ome about. Majority neither booed nor clapped him
He was poor. But I'm still surprised/glad that they took him off. Was no worse than any of their players in that half. They were all poor. The lad with the Polish name up top especially.
I said earlier in week...I'd applaud him before and after the game...I applauded him before game...and I thanked him at half time for being *****...Mowbray took the second 45 out of my hands...
He was poor when he got the ball and was otherwise anonymous. His replacement was far more effective. It was right to haul him off at half time. I'm one of his biggest supporters. He was ***** today though.
It beggars belief that some of our ex payers get demonised as much as they do, I can understand the Bogdanovic's and the Macindoe's but such as Hamill gave 100% to our club and Jacob was one of our own ffs .the academy lads will be thinking what the fek have I got to aspire to here, if I do well and other clubs offer me a future and I come back to oakwell where it all started to play against them they'll just round on me maybe its better to go to the first academy that comes in for me. Or summat
Me too, we all know he's capable of scoring from anywhere in our half. Their striker was very poor, especially the miss early on.
Mowbray is clueless... Butts is top talent... But as an attacking midfielder... Not holding mid, what was he thinking
Maybe just maybe... some of the academy players will realise that the grass is not always greener elsewhere?
He wasn't their worst player in that first half. He was having a go at us but thankfully nothing was coming off for him. Really pleased they took him off. He would have been exactly what they needed in that second half.
Yes but what I'm trying to get at is if their predecessors keep getting the uncalled for abuse on their return to oakwell for doing nothing but leaving for a premiereship club to enhance their career (and yes paypackets) the other lads will take a dim view of our set up
He did float one right onto Polish sounding strikers head, but somehow he missed. Just as he missed that one on one. Amazed he wasn't hauled off.
If there is a manager in our league that would know how to keep Buttercup quiet it would be Flicker. He saw so little of the ball that the Ponte barely had a chance to boo him. Boro played much better second half without him.
