Not sure if this has already been mention, but I thought the Ref yesterday had an excellent game. Allowed the game to flow, blew up where necessary and showed good overall control through out the game. Well Done.
Should have booked at least a couple of their players, but first one that hasn't annoyed me this season
Don't think the Boro players rated him that highly, looking at how they surrounded him at final whistle. I don't believe they had any cause for complaint, he was pretty fair and neutral.
Probably the least biased against Barnsley for a long time, makes you realise what the rest a normally like.
I thought he had a good game - probably let a bit too much wrestling go but as both sides were doing it could have booked a player or 2 but didnt, I disagreed with some of his decisions but he seemed fair ( which probably means he favoured us a bit) only major call was the Penalty but even the most ardently biased boro fan would have to concede that was a stone wall one - their player lucky not to get a card. Can we have him again!
If it's the one I'm thinking about it wasn't offside. Thought he was **** to both sides to be honest. They were putting in some nasty tackles and not getting booked.
