He's a good player, but while ever we keep conceding at a rate of 2.4 goals per game we need to be careful in dishing out praise. Defenders can look great for 89.9 minutes, but make one slip, and bang!

I think we'll stay up as we now have creativity in midfield and 2 great strikers, but we've got to sort that defence out soon.

I've read that people weren't happy with Scott wiseman on saturday although i can't understand it. So do you think Flitcorft could play him at Right back when Nyatangas fit.

They are all good players on their day. But if you think he or any other of our lads "has it all on this level", I will have to refer you to our league position and goals against column, to prove that you are wrong by quite a serious margin.

Also Cranie has suffered one relegation out of this league and missed another by the skin of his teeth. That said, he's not bad.

I think it was more to do with Wiseman being moved inside, making three central defenders, and O'Brien going to right back. Most attacks in the closing stages came down that side through Carayol & Friend and no one offered Jim help or cover (whether through default or by design). Up to that change, the defence coped comfortably in the second half.

Because of, or in spite of, his abilities?

If we had another three defenders of his quality we'd have a decent back four.

Looks a good player at this level. I thought he was excellent on Saturday, as he has been more often than not.

Great player, really vital to our team imo and I'm glad he's captain. I do often think though that his footballing abilities are a little wasted at centre-back. So yes I do reckon he could be moved out to right-back if we'd got another centre-half. Trouble is, I'm not sure any of our other possible pairings would do as good a job in the middle.

No I can't either because Scott had a very good game on Saturday IMO.

I think he `s a good player, but one of the vastly overrated ones on this board. A lot said when Cranie came back after injury it would fix our defensive frailties, still waiting on that one.

OTT in praise and grumbles on here. Where have good and bad performances got to amidst all the superlatives and derogatory remarks or is it a competition between posters who can provide the best.
