Was a fantastic atmosphere that night. The Pressman song was hilarious. And we battered them, with one of the poorest BFC squads in my lifetime. Even Donovan looked like a proper player that night. It went some way to erasing that awful night a couple of months earlier when we chanted for Spackman to go, at Hillsborough, in the worst away game I've ever attended.

Which way will it go tomorrow? Well, we're due a big win in this particular derby.

Be there. The reds need us.

Wasn't that a Sunday tea time ko? Good old Sky.

Gary Jones was immense that day. People were calling him the new Redders. How little we knew.

That was pre-Sky Sports days but the game was broadcast on Sky 1.
Ron Atkinson was co-commentator even though he was Wednesday manager at the same time. Bizarre!

6 o'clock train from Winchester into London, then the 8.03 from KX with the other London Tykes.

Engineering works on the way home, so going to be a very long day, but be worth it if we get 3 points

There's a few collectors items in that clip:

1: Kevin Donovan beat a man. He actually beat him all ends up. If you never had the pleasure of seeing Kevin Donovan, this was the only occasion during his entire time at Barnsley that he showed any kind of skill at all.

2: Kevin Donovan not only put a cross in to the box, but it was converted in to a goal! Surely the only time that happened.

3: Mike Sheron scored with his head. It may not have been the only time that happened, but there weren't many.
