Here's my take on what it should look like. Its a bit rubbish as far as attempts go but its the idea that counts. I'm sure people will get my gist.

Not a bad effort at all, RT.

I quite like the current shield, but maybe with a more contemporary inner/badge

I'd like a penguin somewhere on it...

    Makes us look indecisive.

Choose summat, and get a majority behind it, and stick with it.

Too cluttered in my opinion. Would much prefer something simple.

And without the bloody dog! He's a half-decent (at best) marketing tool, but using him on the badge makes us look like a cartoon, parody club.

Given the Oak connection perhaps acorns could be incorporated somewhere.

The current one is too cluttered, that's even worse

Something simple like forest or the owl is what we need. Probably based around oak and well.

Let's just take the top left quadrant and go with that. With Spectemeur Agendo on it. Whatever happened to that motto?

I think if you're going for the well you need something more modern and certainly better drawn.

Something like the Wishing Well logo:

Or maybe modernise it a bit to appeal to the kids and have one of those long-haired Japanese ghosts coming out of the well like in The Ring.

For me, it incorporates everything about the town & club and does it very well.
