    Digby.

He would have been fired up, sure hes got a Wednesday supporting fan he knows.
Decent on the ball, could have played instead of Fox and he would have been a asset for Freekicks and corners been 6ft 5

personally i would have him at the side of fox rather than instead of him, but having said that does it really matter how good he is on the ball when plan A is to simply hoof the ball to ogrady and hope it sticks ?

Fox wouldn't be the one I would drop but I do wonder what has happened with Digby. I remember flicker talking about him losing his football intelligence or some nonsense, he surely just needs to play. Has he been playing regularly for the development team?

He would have to improve drastically on his last game.

Please don't tell me you would even think about dropping Perkins.

The comments about Digby P72 come from the Charlton game i think when he came on as a sub and didn't fit in. I thought he was played in the drop position. He was asked to play DM.

He was asked to play it alongside Perkins.

Dawson played alongside Perkins and was labelled ****, bringing nothing to the team so dropped.
Digby played alongside Perkins and was labelled ****, bringing nothing to the team so dropped.
fox has been played alongside Perkins and some have labelled him **** and asked what he brings to the team and want him dropped.
Etuhu played alongside perkins and was labelled ****, bringing nothing to the team and so dropped.

It seems to me that we've got two options. Go through every midfielder in the football league till we find Perkins' ideal partner. Or drop him and see if he was the problem.

I wouldn't drop Fox, he looks a good player to me. I think Perkins could be pushed left and get a creative force in the middle. He would do a better job out there than Mellis does, and Jacob could then get on with doing what he does best, creating chances.
