Doubt he'd come here. Onto a good thing at Posh.

Good eye for a player, though.

The man I would change him with is out of work, so would not cost anything to bring in.

    Danny Wilson.

Flitcroft is getting far more wrong than right at the moment and he is living on last season, but that will not keep Barnsley up THIS season.

Before you say that keep changing the manager does not work , I think it has proved just the opposite, we have not been relegated after changing the manager , even last season !!!

Danny Wilson left before next month is key 2 or 3 wins and optimism will return.

It's reasonable to be looking at Flitcrofts position I'd say. I think we should stick but we do need to see some rapid improvements or we should look to see if Danny W wants a job.

But mate we were in a far far worse position last season. Flitcroft produced the best sustained run of form a manager has had for us since returning to this level. All with arguably a weaker squad. Isn't that evidence that he is capable of turning it round?

None of which is to hide away from the problems we've had this year, but to write him off when he has more success than failure as our manager, and has won one and drawn two of his last four, is harsh IMO.

The same Danny W, who turned us down to manage what he said was a bigger club in the blunts? The same Danny W, who left us in the **** to join the fowls?

    Never!

Who knows what he would have done. No one could have predicted the results he (Flicker) delivered.

The same Danny Wilson who is Barnsley's greatest ever manager. Aye that one. He got a better job offer took it. Get over it. Who in any line of work wouldn't. We have never approached him in any formal way since.

I don't think he should be replaced, firstly a decent suggestion of a replacement is hard to think of never mind a realistic one look at our last efforts.
Secondly imo he is a young manager and needs a bit more time to adjust but he now needs to learn fast eg leaving someone up at corners, effective substitutions and tactic adjustment.and he must work on killing teams off Wendy were awful and devoid of ideas and effort first half and should have had no way back at the interval.
    Verdict must do better.
