Reds boss David Flitcroft is confident “clean sheets” will see his side rise up the Championship table.

Only one clean sheet in fifteen this season (and that against S****horpe) and only eight in total since Flicker took over suggests we shouldn't pin too much hope on keeping clean sheets.

5 defenders, 3 defensive midfielders, a general midfielder and a target man. 10 men behind the ball and aimless lumps up the pitch. Can't wait.

Hope we go do what we did last season and have a go.

Not got the players to hold out for 90 mins.

I'm not bothered about keeping clean sheets personally, I'd rather us just score more goals than the other team. I used to love when we had high scoring matches (and won), they were far more entertaining to watch. We used to basically never have 0-0 draws.

None of that makes good reading.

    Especially Paddy's torn buttock!

If we go to defend we will concede at least 4, this is what I read into this. Come on Flicker learn from your mistakes pal, I want you to succeed.

It does read as no change and am a bit sceptical of this injury to Paddy missen. Talk of injury shuts fans up if he doesn`t pick him for a workhorse.

He is right. No team will be successful for any period of time unless they keep clean sheets. But the way you keep clean sheets is by retaining the ball and dictating play. Our defence have a mistake in them, but when we concede the initiative to the opposition for long periods by being too direct and not passing it around it puts them under huge pressure.

For me we seem to have had some good 45 mins away from home preventing the opposition from scoring but have inevitably conceded and lost the game. We seem to be a 45/60 min team at the moment then start tiring and retreating to hold on.

When KH ws in charge we kept the ball for log periods and then lost it in the wrong areas and put our defense under huge pressure.

    Maybe were just ****

Yeah we didn't have many clean sheets when we got to Wembley in 2000, but we were still a joy to watch as with our attacking football in that season we always seemed to look like we could score half a dozen.
