Hmm, I do hope you lovely people of Barnsley keep to yourselves if it does come. BTW I was in Invernress for our L/C clash on Tuesday and there was not any sign of any snow on the mountain tops. Was a wee bit chilly though. Suppose it has to come eventually.
Ssshhhh.... Don't let the southerners hear you - they'll clear the supermarkets, buy guns and put their children into care - at the first mention of the s word!!
Snow is fantastic stuff. It's main quality is that it's slippy, so we can all slide around on it and have fun.
I don't mind driving in it, what hacks me off is my journey to work that normally takes me an hour can and has taken nearly four hours to do in snow. Once a journey back from Stafford took me nearly eight hours!! I'm getting stressed just thinking about it.
Apart from all that, remember to buy all the available bread and milk in your local shop when snow is forecast
Cheers! I'll never forget last year when I was driving home from work, I was halfway down a massively steep hill and my handbrake wouldn't work, the hill was full of abandoned cars parked sideways across the road and then there was an accident at the bottom of the hill, so we all had to try and turn around and go back up it. Never been so scared in my whole life!
