For the assists it's a percentage thing isn't it. Yes forwards will miss some though this remains the same for all the players setting them up. Pass completion is a different matter it is more useful for judging defensive and attacking players as you want your creative players to take chances and look for the more difficult pass. The toilers at our club neither score or create. O brien on average 1.5 goals a season. Perkins less than one. Dawson less than 2. Now I don't knock these players they gave a part to play. But just like you can't okay 3 Paddy's and one trier you snt do it the other way round either as our start to the season demonstrated.

Goal scoring from midfield could be a lot lot better but we seem to be looking at them as the first rank of defence more than the first rank of attack.

Paddy is the first midfield player in sometime the management haven`t tinkered with to make them into something they are not.

It's the bonus structure he's on. A sleeve of B&H for every tackle.

Some decent points there Nudge, but you give Jim a really good write up, asking why he doesn't play week in week out and then in your suggested team he's on the bench!

He's on the bench because imo he dosent fit that 5212 (343) system.........if it was a straight 442 I would prefer to play Jim or Cywka other than Mellis because Mellis isn't showing at the moment that he is good enough for the first team
Its a pity that Cywka or Jim cannot be converted into wingbacks..........I think its been tried but failed

Cannot believe you are still allowed to comment on here after some of the stuff you have spouted on this forum recently.
