I agree. I believe we have the players and a decent squad, but he doesn't play the best players, or play players to their strengths.
Do explain why. The team is the one I'd have gone with and I thought the subs made were bang on. We threw men forward in the second half and were incredibly unlucky not to score. Had O'Grady scored that penalty we could have gone on to win by 3 or 4. Flicker's a novice though.
Dawson for Fox? Why not try Cywka and do summat different. Dawson was just another player who wasn't likely to hurt the opposition.
We needed energy, drive and someone to put a foot in in the middle. Dawson did all that, he played well when he came on. Since when was Cywka a central midfielder?
if o'grady scored the penalty the comments on here would have been , 'we have turned the corner' , 'only 11 points off play offs', 'we battered them'
Perkins was the player most likely to win us the game in the final 20 minutes. Pace-energy- winning the ball and counter attacking directly. where it hurts opponents.

Yes saw that. Shame it happens that infrequently it stands out. Seem to recall shooting for him to carry on his run after he had passed it but no, he stopped short of the penalty box which meant we had one player in there, yet again.
