TBH thought that was criminal when the game was crying out for a player like him, he caused them more problems in that pitiful amount of time than a lot of the others did in 90 mins!

It was a joke of a substitution and showed that Flicker has well and truly lost the plot IMO.

Me and my mate said he needed to come on with 30 minutes left, finally came on with 5 left. I just can't get my head round it.

Would av been a more positive sub with 30 mins left, gave there left back a torrid time in the time he was on.

If JOB was very poor, then how would you class Mellis' performances over the last month. Could get a starring role in the Wizard of Oz that kid as the Tin Man (no heart)

I thought JOB had a decent game actually and was closer to motm than Paddy.

Tompole showed in 4 minutes what an attacking player is meant to do. O brien run around tried his best offered nothing in an attacking sense.

Here's an idea then. Play Cwyka wide right and play O'Brien in the middle instead of Fox. What that guy gives us is beyond me!

Just because mellis has been bad recently doesn't make Jobs performance today any better.

Jobs passing and control today was awful. he spent most his time in our own half.

He looked dangerous when he came on. But he was against tiring legs. He disappoints when he starts but he should be first sub when we are making positive substitutions. He should be on at 60 mins. Maybe a good run of sub appearances will give him the confidence to replicate it when starting.

We will win very few games playing 3 midfield players who create nothing at all that's clear. Chose one of Fox or Perkins. Play an attack minded central midfielder and or players who unlike say o brien haven't tried and failed a 100 times before. RNL on a very bad day adds something offensively certainly more than JOB.

He likes to go forward with the ball

And we're only allowed one attack minded player other than the strikers in any starting XI

Fox is contributing nothing. He is no better or worse than we have on the bench. After saying that our midfield is crap. They are not supporting our front men and do not flood into box. We are playing Pederson up front on his own with no support. COG is playing hold up winger, and is virtually out of game creatively. We are too frightened of leaving our defence on its own, so we never attack in numbers. We should have buried Donny today. We are a bottom of the league side and need two class players getting in and some of the rubbish shipping out to pay for them

Do you remember Ray Mc Hale ? he played the same kind of role that fox plays... the fans used to get on his back but his holding role allowed Glavin and Banks to strut their stuff. You can't have a team of Mc Courts.

I don't think fox played well today but his holding role allowed Perkins to have his best attacking contribution this season IMO
