Roberto Di Matteo, 43, is still being paid £130,000 a week by Chelsea, despite being sacked as manager 12 months ago. The Italian was unable to reach a settlement after being dismissed last November, and will continue to receive the money until June 2014 unless he takes another job.
Rules him out as a Flicker replacement with him still earning that....Serves Chelski right not only for sacking him but for giving such an inexperienced manager such a vast weekly wage.
Actually reckon it rules him in if he can reach an agreement with Chelsea to pay him off with a view to taking another job, he'll be quids in. And for the record, I'd love to see him at Oakwell.
Re: Actually reckon it rules him in I imagine it will be his dream job after winning the champions league
Re: Actually reckon it rules him in Ha ha, are we turning into Wendy fans? We would end up with Russell Slade or some other lower leaguer
Re: Actually reckon it rules him in Hey don't take piss...they'll be queuing up for the job. Heard that Ferguson's prepared to come out of retirement for us...
