    I'd have been quite happy

To see all the players out of contract in the Summer offered a new deal, even if it were only to be a 12 month one. Then, any new players coming in would've had to earn their right to displace the player occupying their particular position. Hopefully, it would then have meant any changes in personnel, formations & tactics would have been done on a gradual basis and allowed the likes of M'voto & Jennings to ease their way into a standard of football they'd little experience of.

Dagnall tries hard and is a decent player just not quite good enough for the championship. 10 goals last season. 2 against Rochdale. 2 against MK Dons. 2 penalties. therefore in open play in the league 4 goals in 39 games. Do you honestly think that's good enough. I have no axe to grind I'm interested. I would have thought second or support striker to score at least 10 league goals excluding penalties would be a reasonable return.

COG scored two against Charlton, two pens, and one off his arse this season. A goal is a goal.

I like Daggers. I think he offers us sumat different. But I know am pretty much alone in thinking that.

Disagree Whitey. Sentiments got know place in Football. Served us well and been here a long time just isn't going to make you go forward. The best football clubs don't have it. Giggs is still at Manchester United because hes good enough. There plenty of players that did them good who isn't and thats because they became not good enough.

Butlands a lot better than Steele Whitey, sorry he just his. Said it in the summer and I will say it now. The club gave in and he will cost us a lot of money in transfers.
Others aren't. Hassell Dagnall and the extra we pay for Steele compared to someone of is talent will cost the club a extra good good player at this level.

    I don't agree, mate.

Let's forget this debate now, it's got a tad boring. Let's enjoy the England game. You watching it?

Id just like to point out that Steele is still a very good keeper at this level for a club of our size.

Butland may well be better, but he is not ours.

I will be. Hope JayRod plays. Surprised now body even put him in the best players you've seen. Surely there aren't many who have played for the club and gone on to play for England.

Looks a good squad. Wouldn't have started Rooney. He needs to play on Tuesday.
