    Nah!

Owt to lighten the mood of doom & gloom, especially on a game free weekend.
For my part, I'm taking great pleasure re living my teenage years by watching the pilot episode of the original Wonder Woman, starring Lynda Carter, on CBS Action.

Very good. That joke will be nicked and used in the pub on Saturday. And I've just linked two threads together.

I've never needed to use a loan shark.

I sell my relatives off instead.

He also does critical injury insurance plans, so I've heard. If you don't take one out, you get critically injured.

    :D
Appalling acting & story lines, but Lynda Carter was stunningly beautiful.

I think you can use your credit card for heroin - just not to buy it with!

I also pay off my credit card every month. I use it for being petrol due to having been scammed a couple of times, and also it's cash back card, not a lot but if it gives me something back for the fortune I have to spend on petrol it's better than nothing.
I first got a credit card when I got a car, just made sense should I have an unexpected expense for repairs, so basically it was for emergencies. But now use for online shopping.
Couple of years ago i got a 2nd credit card because that offered a better rate for foreign currency purchases so use that abroad, car rental, hotels etc.

Re: Well, not to THAT extent

A taxi driver told me not too long back that a lot of the runs he does at a particular part of the evening on weekends are solely taking people to "pick something up" and then returning them back to where he picked them up in the first place. Got so say 99 times out of 100 that's got to be drugs, not sure how I'd feel about that as a taxi driver but I suppose your average recreational drug user (coke or whatever the kids are using now) isn't the same as the heroin zombies with no money that seem to dominate the town centre on a weekday.

I never use a credit card whilst abroad, there are too many people much smarter than me. I flourish it freely for everything else. Petrol-weekly shop- booking holidays- internet shopping. It's every man to his own but they have massive benefits.

I think the key question here is how did you discover that you could get your taxi to stop while you nipped out to buy your drugs?

Also have we yet established whether you can buy a Kebab with a debit card?

And does Jay work for wonga?
