OK following everyone's feedback my mate has done another proposal. Keeping with the tradition it includes mulitple aspects and if wanted (e.g. by vote of the fans) any of the 4 separate elements could be changed. (Personally I suggested the Oak leaf in the top left should be replaced with the Oak Leaf and well image).

In addition the white specs around the perimeter are to define diamonds ....As made from coal!

One final point ....As a Barnsley fan and Barnsley lad any of his logo's would be provided free of charge to the club for use!

I'll show it to the club, on twitter. If I get a reply I'll eat my hat.

That's better than any of the options produced by the Design Agency

At least you can see its a white rose not too sure myself but its far better than the current offering from the club and I wouldn't be too concerned if it got chosen tbh
Just a thought but what about changing the diamonds on the outside to white roses and the larger white rose into a well

There's no "Barnsley chop", but other than that it's a good effort!

I'd prefer if the design inside the rose was either green or black or even both no red should taint the white rose imo and would stand out more on a red shirt

Your thread title leads me to believe that Frum Tarn created these designs, but Frum Tarn tells me that he has not. Are you just saying your mate is from the town?

Yes my mates from Barnsley .... I put it as the designs provided by the club used a design company from Leeds!!!!

I prefer this to the options put forward by the club.

Perhaps lose the diamonds around the edge and have the latin phrase instead (spectemur in the top half and agendo in the bottom half)
Also as already mentioned have the oak and well in the top left as opposed to just the oak leaf - other than that I like it!

Good try but personally I think thi mates try at creating a logo stinks..........its far far too fussy in the design.......too much going on within the logo in a similar way to the present logo which to me looks like two camp guys stood next to a shield

The logo needs to be sharp and clear........the new options A, B C are just that......they look great .....imo I prefer option C

Is it just me who hates the idea of a circle for the badge? A circle suggests a bland business logo and not a club crest. It seems a bit too sunday league for me. I think that the first stage in deciding on a new badge is to settle on a shape, only then can we decide what we want in it.

Point I was making is that Frum Tarn is a poster on here mate, thus the confusion.
