I have to say that I never knew the Star had rooms, I thought it was just a pub (I'm from Grimey). Sound advice from everyone to only call is Cudeth unless you want people not taking very kindly to you, but I see you've cancelled now anyhow. I must say I'm quite disappointed, I was looking forward to your review!! Cudethade, is Dards still open or am I right in thinking it has been knocked down now?
That review will have to wait JD but I'll be more than happy to report on the Black Bull if you want. TBH now I've got somewhere in town I'm now looking forward to my visit even more. A BFC win and a night out in Barnsley would certainly make my wee holiday. I'm gonna pop into the Metro Centre on the way home and finish off my Christmas shopping.
Yeah mate, gotta get this Christmas shopping done. Surely i can get a lot of it done it in Newcastle.
Haha, I thought he was confused with the Metrodome/the Mall! Funnily enough, shopping centres aren't in the curriculum.
Re: Behave yourself Entirely at your door.;-) What kind of Dodworth tourist service advisor are you?!! I bet you've not mentioned the Dil Raj either. Just send some poor unsuspecting bloke to Cud'eth whilst you return to the normal position.
Re: Behave yourself Excuse me Fired but no one sent me anywhere. I looked for cheaper B&B than the £60 that premier inn were wanting for a room on Saturday night. Saw the Star and it looked ok with one reasonable review. But posters warnings were taken into account and I cancelled and Marlon put me right with the Black Bull. No one to blame but myself but no harm has been done.
I don't know what Ian's Finances are, how much he's willing or able to pay. I'm chewing on the idea of the Dil Raj, though.
Re: I don't know what Ian's I thought he said he only had a couple of hours after the match? Which I guess is fine, if you're only planning on having a starter.
