What's the fek are working class folk doing thinking about voting for a right wing anti workers party I suggest anyonrpe thinking about voting for these parasites look beyond their views on Europe and ask about their policies on workers rights in which they don't believe in.
They always manage to avoid discussing their policies on health as they believe in privatisation,they Don,t believe in workers rights( holidays etc).
Vote ukip at your peril full stop

European elections are nothing like our own elections,with some right backing UKIP can make some ground in the euro's and its not just from the working class either.

He's circled the club more than once down the years. Chatting to my dad about him yesterday - he built his business from nowt to be fair, stripping out old coaches and buses down on Wakefield Road. Dad worked across the way and remembers seeing Sykes stripped to the waste & covered in grease, burning old tyres and coach panels. Isn't Meadowhall summat to do with him? Built his big, ****-off, mansion somewhere in Leeds.

 

Was a major investor behind Meadowhall I think - dunno if he's still involved.

Whatever one thinks of Paul Sykes' political leanings, he's never had anything handed to him, for that he surely deserves a certain amount of respect.
It takes a certain type of character to do that, and those of us without that particular trait sometimes find them difficult people to fathom.

 

Him and his business partner built the Dee Dars Meadowhall, not bad dem dingles. He then flogged it for a fortune, it's where he made the bulk of his money.

At school he was a scruffy b*stard, used to always turn up with jam sarnies in a carrier bag that he had swung round his head all the way there. Mi faffer went to school with him, recalls some things about him. He used to have a house next to Locke Park, l assume he flogged that long since.

 

I think he lives near Studley Royal close to Fountains Abbey. Not bad for a lad from Barnsley.

Still think he should have moved the shopping centre a bit further up the M1 to Dodworth and we could have thumbed our noses at Sheffield and Leeds.

 

Is his business partner from Burnley then, never knew that for some reason I thought the other guy in meadowhall was from Beverly . No I know he is from Burnley

 

His mansion is in North Yorkshire not dirty Leeds. Nr Ripon.

I'd be very surprised if UKIP even win a seat at the next General Election, what they will do is split the Tory vote.

 

Yeah - bunch of hypocrites, they don't think we should be in the EU but they'll be happy to take a pay check as an MEP but not turn up for half the debates.

 

Bsly council turned down the offer of meadowhall to be built on the old dodworth pit site they said it would kill trade in the town centre. think it was more to do with Norwich union owning most of the town centre myself

depends which way you look at this,Most pro Europeans turn up regardless because the get a extra 260(for every single debate) quid for doing so,the ukip argument is that they spend more time campaigning over here to get the message across as opposed to sitting thru meaningless debates where they are out voted.Until there are more anti Europeans in the euro parliament the campaigning has to be done over here to get people to vote them in in the first place.
