    Stonesy is a far better bet than bloody Smalling et al.

    Stones Needs to play centre back for Everton. Hes playing for the u21 at CB but it's not a test so hes not got a chance.

    In theory, there should be quite a few places up for grabs.

    I don't believe the following warrant a squad number for Rio:-

    Smalling
    Cleverly
    Wilshere
    Milner
    Young

    Thats just a quick list; if I analyzed the last few squads, I'm sure I can extend the list.

    England struggle to get a strong first XI and have very little strength in depth.
