    Already had my panels fitted and company are asking for the details of the friend that referred me? Free £50 cheque for the both of us...

    And Tyrone - free electricity and no cost to me. Could have paid for them myself but won't be staying in the property long enough (a growing family) to get pay-back. Suits my needs at present...

    Not sure you will be able to sell very difficult for someone to get a mortgage when you have sub let your roof for 25years

    However if you had bought and installed a cash generating system on your roof that would enhanced the properties value.

    Problem is mortgage company's are reluctant to give a mortgage when there is another interest on your property. ie leasing out the roof.
