not the basic program but how its been rebranded and marketed, its basically the same thing since 1963 tardis, dr, companions, monsters, but come on its a totally different product since its reboot, but its not really is its still tardis,dr, companions, monsters, it was o so tired but after a slump some genius (?) has really got to grips with it, I mean oakwell, manager, team, opponents................ 5hithot p.r. and marketing job
I agree. We could use the Tardis to travel forward in time to Sunday, then watch the highlights. We would then know where to station defenders on the line for set pieces, where to place penalties, who was left unmarked, what the opposition team and formation will be etc etc. We could use this system over and again, picking different teams and trying different tactics, until we actually won the match. We could even use it to settle the on-going argument about changing the manager, by travelling to the end of the season and looking at the league table. In fact, the possibilities are endless.
Mmm, that would imply we have the ability to learn from our mistakes. We don't need time travel to tell the coaches when we will be most vulnerable (basically, every corner, free kick near our area and cross) and yet we still go on and make the same mistake the next corner, free kick or cross! I suppose at least with a Tardis we could stick M'Voto in the right place, as he's the one defender we have who seems to be able to win a header. We could then make a fortune with an M'Voto 'spot the ball' competition. If we present a photo of the pitch just after M'Voto has played the ball and ask someone to stick an x where they think the ball has landed it could quite easily be anywhere within the confines of the ground. A quick zip in the Tardis and we'd be able to win every week, by giving the exact row and seat number!
Preedy's Bar is like the TARDIS? If Flicker ditched the black gilet and donned a long stripe scarf, we're getting close.
Sure I can remember an alien race that fed off negative thoughts...damned if I can remember their name... Love it to be... The Moanmen
