Any predictions? Personally think Australia could pile them on today, think they will try to be positive against us. Big day needed for us today to give us any chance at all.
Agree. Yesterday was catastrophic and an absolute shambles. Suspect we need to aim at keeping it respectable, having a good second innings with the bat, and focusing on the next test.
Same, just can't see how we can get back into it. Might scrape a draw if we bat out of our skins second knock.
They need to come out and show what there about as a team. Yesterday wasn't good enough. Some of the best players in the game playing like that. In KP Bell Cook England have three of the best players to every play the game for England and they are in the same team. Not since Len Hutton... have England ever had a team like this and this team could go on and be the best EVER but they need to not have days like yesterday took often. But say all that this England team don't have two bad days together often especially the bowling line up.
We cant gift the aussies cheap runs, need to keep the run rate as low as we can, take time out the game then hope we can bat for 5 sessions again to get us out of this hole. But no doubt by sunrise they will be 450 ahead and we may have even lost a few wickets ourselves!!
Try and limit them to a lead below 350 and you never know. But we're going to need Anderson and Tremlett to join Broad at the table today.
Aye, I wouldn't say no to a greasy box right now.. Two down, by the way. Tremlett joins the party. Game on. Maybe.
Nice one big chris. England need to get in to Clarke now. Lots of comments like Bang Bang England bang bang.....
Rain stopped play. Well that's a first in Queensland. Tee hee. I hope it chucks it down - for 2 days!
Not sounding good now - these 2 are getting in nicely, and the bowling according to TMS, is steady but not penetrating, ball not doing much at all. If they don't break these 2 very soon, then it is going to be a long day / night. Off to bed, fully expect them to have declared with a 450-500 lead on the board by the time I get up.
