Heard some lads slagging off Paddy yesterday.

Lazy fenian lovely person or summat. Getting the monk on that he didn't track back or work hard enough and should be dropped.

Mental.

 

My only gripe with him yesterday was not passing and being a little ball greedy.

 

I see that but that's his game. We need to get him on the ball further up the pitch. Defenders **** themselves when he's in the box.

 

His skill was sublime at times, and he delivered some great passes, but I agree with you that he was a little ball greedy on occasions. He's at his most dangerous when beating men in the opposition half, near their penalty box, rather than in our own half.

And it was disappointing to see on a couple of occasions when our attack broke down near their penalty area, as Millwall broke quickly into attack, Paddy just strolled back to the half-way line.

I want to see his skill on show allied with some helping out defensively. One doesn't exclude the other.

 

Our main issue is we don't get enough players in and around the box when attacking

 

One does exclude the other with regards to our team. When was the last time Perkins scored a league goal, or created a chance for our strikers? Or Dawson? Or Etuhu? Or Fox? When was the last time one of our regular defenders, who's still at the club, even scored a goal?
We have enough players getting selected every week purely for defensive duties, without needing our most skilful player having to do so, too, in my opinion.

 

If someone with the skill of Paddy could also defend he'd be at Man Utd.

 

Correct. We've got enough players automatically picked that supposedly do all the work to cut done slack to certain players like Mellis and McCourt.

 

Perkins has played 17 games this season, no assists, no goals. Although he was uphended for a penalty.

Etuhu has no goals/assists. Dawson one goal no assists. Fox no goals one assist.

Defenders? Wow. Think Bobby's header against Watford was the last. You know Bobby? The ginger haired bloke, used to play for us when we weren't ****.

We really do have the most limited midfield in the division.

That would be my dream. And I do not mind admnitting that even if we lost every game I would defend him to the hilt, and be the biggest happy clapper the BBS has ever had.

 

Best midfield in the division, is what a lot of BBS'ers said we had this Summer...

R old boy is 50 years old. He says Davey was our worst manager. He stopped going in 2009. Season ticket for many a year, sacked it off, only been back for the odd match since. And trust me, the second biggest football fan I know, after me.
