Flicker has already sent quite a few players "to Coventry" this season, Bobby Hassell being the prime example.
according to this mornings local star mansford says they are hopeful of bringing in an offensive minded player before tomorrows deadline
Too little too late I'm afraid. Players like Dagnall and Dawson etc should have been moved on during pre season. While I appreciate their efforts, they are not up to championship standard. Unfortunately its taken Flicker 4 months to realise this. The other bad news is that Mansford is still supportive of Flicker, allowing him to bring yet another player on loan. Unfortunately its too little too late, and I am certain we will be playing League 1 football next term.
Have to agree. Also signals no impending change at the top even if we get a tonking against Brum. If Flitcroft turns it round, fair play to him. But he's gone from hero to zero and he's the only one to blame.
Our transfer policy has been awful. Too many loans and re-signing of mediocre squad players. Is this maybe because we didn't secure our Championship status until the very last day and then Flicker delayed signing his own deal for a few weeks, meaning BFC was behind the rest of the market and playing catch-up?
It could be said there giving him enough rope to hang himself with, but i would have thought they had built the entire gallows by now
Guy I work with is a Cov fan. So I've taken notice of them this season - and as things stand now Dagnall will be on the bench at Cov because he aint good enough to shift the two strikers that are there now. Wilson especially is looking very good
Doubt we will bring in a striker on loan to replace the striker sent out on loan, as Dagnall hasn't been getting on the bench anyway.
I cannot believe what is happening at Barnsley. He goes out and fetches in a load of average players, and fills the club with them. Then he does not know how to use them. He then says he needs a strong squad of players, around 30. Then he does not know how and where to play them. He then panics at goals going in so sets up a defence minded set up. As a result our goal scoring dries up. If we do not score we cannot win, only Draw. This is what is happening, fact. The likes of Doncaster do a deal for Macheda, they are not a good team but the odd win puts them above us. We cannot beat them, Millwall, Wednesdays, etc, so how with his decisions can we get 50 points. We have to play all the top teams again in the second part of the fixtures and we cannot beat the bottom teams. If we lose or draw against Birmingham we are in the mire good and proper.
