It hurts me seeing him in a different shirt. If you want a laugh, watch Keith's post match interview. "we've been smashed at home, but we haven't really"
The 4th goal is hardly an assist is it? Come on? It was a poor ball that wasn't beating the first man until the dale defender produced an air shot. Therefore 1 assist in league 2 against 9 men.
Funny that, because he's been officially credited with the assist. Just like Perkins was credited with a goal at Blackpool the other year when it hit his face. Just as Mellis was credited with an assist for Paddy's wonder goal vs Boro. He's done what he was asked to do - put it in the box. Had he not done, then yes, it wouldn't have been an assist. Ffs.
Course it was an assist he made the cross and the blokey tap it in. If it had gone in the net the wouldn't have said that's not your goal cos the defenders were crap.
Do you reckon that ball would have made it that far in the championship? I don't. I just don't see the point in brown nosing him on stats produced in league 2. If he is as good as some people suggest then assists etc should be a given, shouldn't they?
You do realise that when he's playing in League Two he's playing alongside League Two players, don't you? **** me. He played seven minutes and set two goals up. But let's not mention it, and pretend he's ****.
Come on Whitey, we can give him credit for that first cross, was a good un and resulted in a goal. As for the second cross for their fourth goal, it was very poor and at any level in professional football, should have been cleared easily. RNL needs to have a good run in the Scunny team and then we can see if he has rebuilt his confidence and hack it at Championship level......I don't think he can.
At any level in professional football, Ozil should have scored that penalty last night. Ffs. The lad puts a cross over, the defender misses it, the striker scores. If that's not an assist, and something to credit him for after being on the field for seven minutes then I give up. BOOOOOO Reuben, tha **** lad. What sort of ******* cross was that. You don't see Kennedy do that, do you lad? You stupid boy.
In the true scheme of things the 2nd cross will go down as an assist.....but it was **** and you know it (but at least he did put the ball in, unlike the useless left back we have....TK). My view on RNL, and any other young promising local Academy player, is that when the first XI is struggling, which we currently are, there seems to be a clammer to bring these players into the team and that they'll make the necessary impact. I think it's heart ruling head. Maybe RNL will come good, I don't think so.
second cross looks as though it deflects off the back of the full back before the airshot by the central defender....one good, one bad but lucky for me.
Amazing really. Young lad sent out on loan creates more chances in 7 minutes than any of our lot are likely to in the best 6 games but still people want to have a go. Sad really and probably one of the reasons managers are too scared to risk playing our younger players.
Don't think anyone's having a go, they're just stating what they see. I'm in the camp that thinks RNL will not cut it at championship level, but he was and still is, worth a try at BFC. On the basis that we have a current set of midfielders (Paddy the exception) that are quite frankly, playing cr@p. Maybe the loan spell builds the confidence required and he gets back to Oakwell a better player?
