    Just been having a discussion int boozer about him. So for those who saw him play for us.

    I thought he was vastly overrated, injury prone, immobile and after been excited about signing a SA international me been totally underwhelmed!

    The two blowks int pub thought he was the dogs balls?!?

    Thoughts?

    I'm with you. Decidedly average, particularly in the Prem. Would still be the best player in our current midfield mind (excluding Paddy, if you call him a midfielder).

    I don't know if you can call him overrated as I never knew anyone that rated him that highly. Those two blokes in the pub must have been his only fans.

    He was alright, but I think we all expected a lot more from an international who had played in Serie A.

    Whilst I expected more from him at first he did play a good solid part in getting us to the play off final.

    So not all as bad as everyone is putting, but then he is an EX player.

    In his first interview upon arrival, he proclaimed us "a stepping stone" in his career. He and Georgi Hristov must have had the same PR guy.

    R old boy detested him. Said he ran about like a woman.

    I thought he was poor, considering his reputation/pedigree etc. Got better in the playoff season, but certainly a forgettable player.

    I'd probably stick him in the average category with Anthony Kay, Sean McClare and Stephen Dawson. So, not a Diego Arismendi, but not a Danny Drinkwater either.

    Tinkler would piss on Kay, Tinkler was a vital part of one of our best teams in recent years.

    Kay was a bit part player in league 1. No coincidence when we had our better seasons Tinkler played for us.

    When we had Tinkler, although he had a not very flash role he stopped teams playing. He'd look like Messi playing for us now.
