"To finish in a massive fight would be better than going over old ground...As much as the fans want to see it reach a natural conclusion against George Groves, with me knocking him out again, I feel personally I gave him his chance and he blew it - he can't cut it at world level"

What exactly does he mean by 'with me knocking him out again'?? This is the man who got put on his ar$e in under 3 minutes, got a boxing lesson for 8 rounds, and had the luckiest stoppage i've ever seen. Yet Froch accuses Groves of arrogance and disrespect.

At the same time, he doesn't want to 'go over old ground', but wants to fight Ward? The other man who also made him look a mug.

    Unbelievable.

I'm hoping it's just the hype machine cranking up again, for the rematch. After the performance against Groves, can you imagine what Ward what do to him??!?!

I've never been keen on froch or groves to be honest but during the build up i must say what froch was saying made him look arrogant and a bit of a pillock. Groves gave as good as he got and proved on the night what he said was going to happen and exploited froch and his weaknesses and fair play to the lad.

Wether froch is getting to old or groves is the real deal will remain to be seen hopefully in a rematch we will find out one way or another.

Froch for all his talk isn't in the same league as other British boxers over the last few years.

I can't remember Ricky hatton or joe calzaghe being as disrespectful as froch after any of their fights.

I'm all for it going into a fight but afterwards show a bit of respect because groves shook him after barely 3 minutes and he seems to have forgotten that......

Froch will either fight Ward again or a 3rd match with Kessler and call it a day

Wait a min, Froch hasn't been disrespectful. Anyone could see Froch was rhen on top and a stoppage was likely in the layer rounds.

Groves can't comment though after his dubious win over Regale then refused the rematch. What goes around comes around Groves so pipe down.

Pretty much my thoughts there too RED. Typical Froch performance with the slow start but no doubts in my mind that he would have finished Groves if it had continued. The rest of your post is fair point too.
