**** me sideways. Any other club would have pulled the plug on the lot ....

 

I think the conspiracy theories would have been rife had they not fixed it, half an hour later it would have been far too dark over that side of the pitch to play but it would have seemed a bit convenient given the scoreline. Possibly looking at a massive fine and/or points deduction if the club couldn't prove there was nothing they could have done to get it working again.

 

And the sprinkler that produced a puddle should have been left on.

 

Barnsley must be the only side in the world that nearly concede a goal from possibly the worse taken corner in history, about 15 minutes from the end if I remember correctly....

 

I think we tried pulling the plug, and actually managed to **** that up too.
