He said that the voting ended but the club isn't ready to announce a result yet and they'll have to take a bit of time to decide what to do. Now to me that suggests that the results were too inconclusive to use any of the 4 abominations and that they are having a rethink about needing NEW designs instead. Or is that me reading too much into it?
Maybe the keep the same badge won and they`re just waiting to shove one of the others on us just before they announce the new manager.
my honest view, he's now thinking '**** the badge, our priorities just changed'. and he'd be absolutely spot on, to think that.
i imagine mansford & co will have prepared for potentially sacking flicker, before the game kicked off and before he wrote those programme notes. this will not have been a knee-jerk decision
what would that achieve though, really? if you have nothing to say, say nothing. pretty solid approach to change, i reckon. personally, i don't give a **** about the badge right now. happily leave things as they are for this season, and concentrate on keeping us up...again
