Re: He's the most skilful, creative player we've had since Hignett Nail. Head. You are good at putting into words thoughts that run around my teeny little mind. I fully appreciate those comments
Re: He's the most skilful, creative player we've had since Hignett Paddy is a luxury player. He will never solve the deficiencies of others, but he will win a game in a solid side.
Re: He's the most skilful, creative player we've had since Hignett Thought he was heartless in the 2nd half - wasn't alone, mind. Number of times he just kicked the ball back to the opposition with a pass or a flick was increasingly annoying as the match went on. I'm not criticising the front two - with the amount of things created for them, we're lucky if they get a shot, let alone a goal. Thought there was only Pedersen, Cranie and Wiseman that actually tried to keep working hard as the rest crumbled around them.
Re: He's the most skilful, creative player we've had since Hignett Average player in a poor team. Can he only the width of the field instead of the length?
Re: He's the most skilful, creative player we've had since Hignett Where did Caddis play? He's got pace to burn. I've seen him at right back/wing back/right midfield before.
McCourt is the potentially the best player we have and the most creative, surrounded, as he was today, by dog sh*t, I think even Messi would have struggled.
Re: He's the most skilful, creative player we've had since Hignett He played right back LDRed. Norman Rimmington would lose McCourt, he just can't defend or track back or fill areas. Not good enough.
Re: He's the most skilful, creative player we've had since Hignett Agreed. To the opposition. He is a complete waste of a shirt.
Re: He's the most skilful, creative player we've had since Hignett You've just described Mellis/Perkins/Dawson/Etuhu/Fox
Re: He's the most skilful, creative player we've had since Hignett Using Caddis fly to reel em in HT, I like it. Gone fishin do da de dadda do.
Re: He's the most skilful, creative player we've had since Hignett Sorry thats not true. Perkins does defend, as does all bar Mellis in that list youve put there. And to be fair to Mellis we gets back a lot better than McCourt.
Re: He's the most skilful, creative player we've had since Hignett When does Perkins defend? And no, shouting at other players isn't considered defending, nor is running around a lot nowhere near the ball or other players. Dawson did a good job of defending today didn't he and Fox doesn't defend at all because he doesn't do ANYTHING
Wrong. He played plenty of decent passes today and whenever he got the ball there was a chance of something happening. He was playing much deeper in the second half but was still our main source of creativity. Ok he got beat by younger quicker players occasionally, but what the hell do you expect from him?
Did you ever see Ronnie Glavin? Did his defending in the opposition's half. Suppose you prefer the Perkins of this world. Wish we had a few more average players then.
Re: He's the most skilful, creative player we've had since Hignett You wouldn't be able to recognise a good player if one bent you over and ****** you while doing keepy uppies.
Re: He's the most skilful, creative player we've had since Hignett I`ll bet Mr C could do that or has already.
Re: He's the most skilful, creative player we've had since Hignett If thats to me then thankyou. Been a good player doesn't give you the right not to defend. Watched a but of Real Madrid when i got back from Oakwell. Bale got a hatrick and he tracked back and defended.
Re: He's the most skilful, creative player we've had since Hignett Hold the front page, Paddy McCourt who plays for Barnsley isn't as good as Gareth Bale who plays for Real Madrid.
