It's a yes from me. Looks at Jay's post and see his record.

Exactly. Look at the job he did at Swindon, took them to the play-off final. Took the Blunts to the play-offs consistently. Don't remember how things worked out for him at Hartlepool?

Wilson is a man manager and can gel with the players we've got. Need someone like that.

Ideal manager for us then as that's where we will be next season.

I was going out with a right cracking bird back in 1996. I wouldn't mind having a go at her now….

Oh hang on her tits are now round her ankles…

    Never go back.

Bear in mind that, barring a miracle, that's where we're heading next season. By this time next week we could need to win every other game left to reach 50 points. Someone with a great record at that level sounds exactly who we need.

It's a definite yes from me.

    YES! YES! YES!

His PPG record is fantastic, he plays beautiful football, and I don't buy the "never go back" thing.

Me neither - just don't understand it - it has been 15 1/2 years since he left - what bearing does that have on here and now - is he a good manager who fits our needs? - unquestionably YES! That's all that matters.

Experience tells me you may regret that post, we shall see…

If he is appointed I will be right behind him as he is an Oakwell legend.

Just think it would be a mistake & we need someone different.

You may well be right. But if I were in charge of the club it's a risk I'd be willing to take. I don't see any available managers at the minute with a better record than Wilson. Plus the football he plays in incredible.

Danny Wilson now odds on. I sincerely hope that whoever is lumping money on to bring the odds down to that level has insider information. :)

    If Danny's appointed manager

I wonder if he'd bring in Neil Redfearn as his assistant?

Why, was 1996 that bad? I have quite fond memories of it myself.
