As I pointed out yesterday he has a 40% win record as manager over his entire career. Another 30% drawn. Over a season that is 65pts+. It's a yes from me.

The guy has a lot of relegations / or due relegations to his name if you look at that record. He managed a lot of clubs that were expected to get promotion remember, not a lot of relegation candidates (other than Hartlepool … who were… erm.. relegated)

Like him as a man. Full of integrity.

    Like his footballing style.

If he is appointed will support him with both testicles, however I pray for someone else (and not Appleton).

My choice would be Warnock, but no one will like that….

the thing with wilson is he'll do the simple things right, and there won't be any nonsense to put up with. i personally think he's on a hiding to nothing coming back. but there's worse options.

Hi Tom, know you are a voice of reason on here & agree there are worse options. I just think there must be better options & not ruining a legacy.

Warnock would be another one on the list for me aswell.I've always liked him.

I still think Wilson will be here come next weekend.

i think if you drew up an honest list of genuine options, it would make for pretty grim reading. personally, i'm right back at square one, and siege mentality. the aspirations of pre-season are out the window. target now is survival, and another fcukin mountain to climb in 2014. for me, the best option is the manager who's gonna give us the best chance of staying up.

wilson might just energise the stadium, and give us a much needed new manager bounce.

    just not michael fcukin appleton!

    Re: If Danny's appointed manager

Redfearn told us last week that he already had a job and we had a manager and to get behind him, flicker said in barnsley comical that 99.5% were backing him. What's changed since last week then ?

Redfearn also admitted he wouldn't have a problem working as assistant to Wilson were the opportunity to arise, didn't he, mate?
