Just done it myself and it shows you what sort of keepers we've played in the league this season. Pollitt, two games. Huddersfield home 1. Nottingham away 3. 2 games, 4 goals. AVG 2 Luke Steele. 6 games. Wigan Home 4 goals. Blackpool away 1 goal. Charlton home 2 goals. Blackburn away 5 goals. Bournemouth Away 1 goal. Watford Home 5 goals. 6 games 18 goals. AVG 3 goals conceded per game. gulp Butland. 10 games. Leicester Away 2 goals. Reading Home 1 goal. Qpr away 2 goal. Middlesbrough 2 goals. Sheffield home 1 goal. Ipswich away 1 goal. Doncaster home 0 goals. Millwall away 1 goal. Birmingham home 3 goal. Brighton away 1 goal. 10 games. 14 goals. AVG 1.4 Over the season of 46 games Butland, 64/65 goals per season Pollitt 92 goals per regular champ season. Steele over the season 138 goals.

I reckon even if I played in goal I would do better than that. I played in goal for Barnsley Boys in 1970/71 so I'd probably do OK, although I'd get slaughtered on here.

He just doesn't let them in. I watched the Charlton highlights the other day back and it had me rubbing my head a couple of months after.

I mean, are you not taking into account the other 10 players on the pitch? Are you not taking account of the opposition and their ability? For example, do you not think Wigan, Blackburn and Watford are better than the likes of Doncaster, Wednesday and Ipswich? For what it's worth I rate Jack Butland very highly. He's impressed me. But he's unlikely to be here post-January. I'm told that's 99% certain to be the case. Luckily, I happen to rate Luke Steele as well. And so I hope his injury troubles have cleared up by the time Jack goes back to Stoke's reserve team. You Reds etc.

The one Steele could do little about, neither could any keeper. The second goal, the one where had M'Voto and Kennedy been in tune with each other Church wouldn't have been clean through. The same goal that Kennedy could have hooked off the line had he used his right leg? Steele's fault.

You could even say it's down to the whole team. If you are trying to blame Luke Steele for our league position, tough luck - we see you coming a mile off!!

If we can't get Butland in January then we need to be searching the leagues for another because the goalkeepers massive. We went from a bad defense to a really good defense in 2007 whitey overnight when Muller replaced Colgan. It's important that you have a good Goalkeeper.
