Are the majority on here blind or just stupid? Maybe it's me, not throwing out accusations.... But get real. His post WAS NOT about heysel. He claims it was now - after someone else suggested it was. He leeched on to that get out of jail free card like lightning. The thread was on about the decline in terracing at grounds, for which he blamed 'the murdering scousers'. He might have been referring to heysel for the murder bit, I can't say he wasn't, though this in itself is wrong. But there is absolutely no way he wasn't referring to Hillsbrough in reference to terracing. Don't mind that though, folks. Carry on abusing admin for flushing out idiotic people who at the very best are time wasting wind up merchants, and at worst opinionated bigots spewing bile at every opportunity.... Keep pushing the admin team until they all refuse to do it anymore so we have no proper forum. Why not.
The thing is, Troff, banning CJ was not just about the "murdering scousers" comment, but also because of the run in with Whitey about homophobia (Whitey, I'm not saying who is right or wrong, but CJ did have a point!).
Unnecessary in what way? I've made that remark countless times on here. After the Watford game for example, I said we'd been dry loved. In other words, we'd been smashed, hammered, spanked. Dry loved is a bit of a naughtier way of saying that. It in no way referred to Brighton, nor homosexuals. I mean, I'm sure some straight women like getting dry loved. Horses for courses etc. However, if you had waded through last nights posts a little more thoroughly, you'd have found a post where I referred to the Brighton side as 'gays'. I can't defend that. But that's my humour. And the barrage of posts of a similar nature from most of the BBS that followed, would suggest my posts of a 'gay' nature last night were seen for what they were - humour driven. No hate involved. No victimisation. No abuse. Just good fun. But as I said at the time, if I was to be reported and banned, then so be it. The rules is the rules.
Completely agree, post of day for me. If people dont like what Admin have done their is always tykesmad to go on.
There really is a limited to what people can say on public forums like this and get away with it. Labelling Liverpool fans in that way is deeply offensively and not something to joke about. I remember the numb ness and shock on the way home from our 1 nil win against Birmingham when all the Hillsborough stuff came out. If I were an administrator I would have banned him if people complained. I'm not one to give a toss myself but if you go around being offensive you live by the sword and die by the sword don't you. As for the only having a laugh brigade there is humour which is close to the bone but funny and there's being obnoxious and CJ has no idea of the difference.
Anybody sending me private messages regarding my relationship, my partners son, his kneecaps, etc etc, are full weight, complete bellends. And the only 'pillocking' is the pillocking he's took for the last two nights. Worked a treat for him. The pillock.
and also cos he's Greek Man + several other previous aliases on a previous ban, and also because he is constantly trolling, and also because we've had numerous complaints, and also because he's wasting admin time with fake alerts, and also because he's ruining the board for other people. He's been winding it up for weeks.
Maybe so - but a lot of the defence offered for CJ states he wasn't referring to Hillsbrough. I think it's plain he was. But even if he wasn't then he is bloody stupid for saying something like that in a thread which was. It's inflammatory, I like a wind up, don't mind a wind up merchant, I even missed hemsie. But that in my opinion was way too far. Any other argument between him and whitey I haven't read, so won't judge. Maybe whitey was equally out of order, maybe not. Maybe CJ shouldn't have been given any blame for that. To me it isn't relevant, tonight was enough alone. My point is that there is blatant cause to have banned CJ - you may think it harsh but you can see he isn't blameless. He was therefore banned when it was deemed necessary. Yet admin gets abused for it.
I was quoting polar opposites cambs, not suggesting that's what he is. Comfortably somewhere in the middle I reckon

I have however supported you ONCE for being able to support whatever team you like. So thanks for that. But I'm being deadly serious regarding your accusation. Feel free to support your claim that I'm homophobic, offer up some evidence, or ask for your post removing otherwise I'll be having you, pal.
As you know from my replies to your posts and to your blogs, I respect you as a poster. And, yes, I mostly like your humour. However, your comment about "dry loved" when applied to Brighton can be misinterpreted, and indeed it was by CricketJim. That is why it was unnecessary - it could be interpreted in a different way. I have no idea what other meaning the term can have, but you are more worldly wise than myself. Personally I did not take offence from your "dry loving" comment or your "gay" comment. I appreciate that they were humorous. But CJ didn't like it, so why not just say sorry instead of prolonging an argument and trying to get your own back by winding up CJ?
Getting my own back how? I'm a 31 year old bloke. I don't 'get my own back'. He took offence (real, or fake) at my comments, and I then continued to make references to anal sex. As did a large amount of posters. It was a giggle, was it not? Absolutely nothing like what he's done this evening. But as I keep on saying, if my comments were upsetting, feel free to report me to admin. I can give, and take. Right up the Steve Harris.
