    Thanks, we are just having a quiet wedding.
    We are both 51 and been living together since 2005, Engaged since 2006 so it is about time I reckon :eek:

    I think I've got one more Mad Friday in me (said that for the last couple of years, but looking forward to it now).

    Not sure if Monday 23rd will be up to much seeing as that and Christmas Eve aren't actually bank holiday's so a lot of people will still be working - I know Mad Friday isn't a bank holiday either but it seems tradition now to start drinking before lunch on that particular day.

    Mad Friday is always the last Friday before Christmas Eve. Traditionally it was when all the factory and other workers had their Xmas drink. Now it's just an extension of the weekend revellers, gangs etc. I work in Tarn and we're all going out next Friday to avoid the expected fiasco of Mad Friday.
