    I think it said in the Chronicle that Butland goes back after Boxing Day, and with Steele not looking like coming back any time soon, we could well have a keeping issue for a couple of games before we get someone else in. Not sure Dibble is anywhere near ready yet, would we be able to sign anyone to fill the gap?

    I think we could do an emergency loan.

    Butland might stay.

    I agree. I have a feeling Steele will be back and ready to take reclaim the number 1 jersey by the time Butland returns to Stoke.

    Anyone reckon Steele's back injury is a cover story? He's in Dubai at the minute - wouldn't imagine players are given time off like that mid-season unless its for some personal reasons

    Think we'll at least be able to extend Butland's loan up to January, then we're struggling, get the feeling he'll go elsewhere in January, shame really for us but I reckon it's the best for him and his ambitions.
