The memories Flicker gave me from last season will stay with me for the rest of my life. Last season is truly unforgettable. The wins at home to Leeds, Watford, Leicester, Brighton and Hull. The scenes of celebration and lift Marlon gave us after the fantastic results at Blackpool, Boro and MK Dons. The agonosng listening of the away games at palace and forest, and the unbelievable last minute equaliser from fozzy at Cardiff! And with all that I havnt even mentioned the final game and the emotions felt at Huddersfield away! It really was an incredible year and I firmly believe with Butcher or O'driscoll in charge it would never have happened. So thankyou Flicker for an imcredble 5 months last season.

Really wish it would have worked out for you David. The second half of last season will stay with me for the rest of my life. It's not just that I've never seen a Barnsley team work so hard, I've never seen any football team work so hard week after week after week. You're clearly one hell of a motivator. I hope the experience here serves you well in the future and that you have a successful career in football. You've obviously got summat and it will now be to the benefit of another club.

Great interview, thank you for always talking up our club and our fans and always treating us with respect, even after you've been dismissed. Very much appreciated. Class act that.

Best of luck for the future, thank you for last season, I've never felt so proud to be a Barnsley fan.

    Cheers David.

Very good exit interview, Flicker proved yet again, he's got the ability to communicate very well.

I noticed that he did not accept any fault or weakness in his tactics and team selections......and anyone with any football nouse, knows this was his greatest weakness and ultimate reason for poor points tally and sacking.

It's a shame he's gone, beacuse the bloke does have talent and I hope he learns from his mistakes this season.

What a fantastic interview from a fantastic man.Not one grumble about the board, players or fans. The club will always be bigger than one man and maybe it was time to part company but I don't think I'll ever forget Flickers contribution to Barnsley FC.Well done to the players too for there praise of DF I'm sure he'll really appreciate that.Whoever takes over at Oakwell should listen to that interview I'm sure they'll take insperation from the man and realise what a cracking club Barnsley FC are.All the best for the future David.

I actually thought it was an awful inteview, could have been 10 mins shorter without all the knackers he spouted. He completely refused to take any blame for the position we are in.

I preferred to listen to KH interviews than flickers

Thanks for the second half of last season, David. Some of the best memories of my football supporting life, and proudest moments as a Barnsley fan watching some of those performances.

Best of luck for the future

Didn't he say he was taking time to think things through as to why it didn't work out?

Just be grateful for what he did achieve!!

Spot on, Jay. Flicker didn't seem to have any bitterness towards the club.
