Then shouldn't it be about what jax2 isn't getting or will be stopped from getting rather than what others are perceived to be getting. The buck stops with the Govt to look after its Citizens via the Welfare state. This Govt is moving very fast away from that and blaming all and sundry rather than admitting its part of the nasty political ideological make-up of its party.

Literally nobody is saying that any immigrant deserves more than jax etc, and you have no evidence to suggest that any of them do receive more.

As for this disease stuff - shall we band foreign holidays, business trips and the champions league then? That's just the world I'm afraid.

All the official information available confirms that benefits are available to UK nationals and immigrants on an equal basis. I'm not a politician, I've had several red wines, can't comment on your family members' individual circumstances, and can't be arsed to argue as loads on here will know more than me. However, you only have to do 30 seconds of research to discover that many of the horror stories about immigrants claiming benefits are complete myths. in no way whatever should they have gone any where near above any UK citizen... I do sympathise with some of the people who suffer at the hand of despots...people like "Che Guevara" or "Fidel Castro" even " Saddam Hussein"... but some people seem to worship these kind of people...even now want to wear their badges etc. But In Uk we try to ... or at least are told we have a fair system... so it always seems and was about to, say Tom. Dick or Harry... but we may as well say Tomasus, Dhikov, or Hashish.. should all get a fair crack but who do you reckon gets the hand on that whip first ...is that a very hard question I wonder.

the govt... any govt should be putting up the barricades, making it severely hard to come here ... the first step should be getting out of the PATHETIC European Union , and forgetting about their threats as to how the UK would "suffer" without them, do the Scandinavians suffer... no I think not. I think quite simply it is them that want us more than the reverse. This 'Little' Island.. is it really that little... look at what it controls strategically... two wars showed its importance... and so did a huge empire before... so answer me ... WHO exactly needs WHO... look at the state of the Euro... how good a move was it keeping out of that Fiasco... and by the way RedStar that was a Tory move.. and still is.

What gives you the right to imply that Harry Patch would have supported your point of view? Don't impute your twisted view of things on a dead bloke for the sake of cheap rhetoric. Having read a lot of your ***** I still don't see the link between immigrants and the benefits available to UK nationals given that immigrants make a net contribution to the economy.

Whilst not wanting to get embroiled in individual disputes the racism and xenophobia exhibited in posts such as the one that compared immigrants to rats is disturbing and just saddens me. The right wing press foster images of immigrants somehow taking advantage of the system. All independent research shows this to be untrue yet still the lowest common denominator wins. We are a migrant race. There are almost no indigenous peoples of the British Isles left. The facts are that without immigration British institutions like the NHS would grind to a halt. I don't know enough about the personalities involved to know if the original post was a point scoring exercise I do know that there are people on here with views on their fellow humans that are revolting. If I heard them in the street or at the match I'd probably say summat cos I've got a big gob and a hard brother.

I don't know Jax, I don't know his personal and political beliefs, I couldn't speak for him if I wanted to, which I don't, as he's clearly his own man more than capable of speaking for himself. With that in mind, are you sure this is the kind of support he wants? Do you know if he wants his name attached to and associated with this way of thinking? Do you know if this is how he wants his battle fought?

I don't know and I'm not saying he'd be against it, like I said, I don't know him, but do you know for sure he'd be comfortable with this? If not, do you think you should ask him, because at present you're making out that your opinion on these matters is in some way speaking for him and you're tying in his name with your opinions.

Jax may be fine with that, but he may not. I know a lot of people who would be appalled if their predicament was being used to fuel this line of argument.

 

To be honest the sixth-form left-wing politics on here is a little tedious as well and completely one-sided too, for example, the massive council house waiting lists have got nothing to do with immigration but are entirely due to Thatcher selling off council houses when of course it's due to both.

 

Of course it's entirely due to selling off council houses and not replacing them. Started by Thatcher continued by Labour and now the Tories. I know you are a bit simple so I will do sone basic economics.

A man has a shop selling beans. He sells lots of his beans off and doesn't go to his suppliers to get more beans. Do you think he will be able to sell as many beans as before or less.

Read the independent research above showing financial benefit of migration. Produce author active independent counter research and by this I don't mean the inane ramblings of done bloke from UKIP. I mean verifiable robust research.

Some more basic maths, New Labour let in 4 million immigrants and 3 million are on the waiting list.

See what I mean about being completely one-sided, go to Aldham Estate and see how many council houses and flats have gone to immigrants, of course they are prioritised for council houses because they don't have another abode in this country.

 

Am I the only one thinking they'd rather live in a Britain full of 'immigrants' than people with views like Dragon Tykes?
