I can't believe we are seemingly so early on in the recruitment process with critical matches coming up.

It took Wigan less than a week to sort it out.

The kid's got a point. What were we doing in the weeks leading up to Flitcroft's dismissal? Talking to half a dozen degenerates in the bloody Dog and Duck by the sounds of it.

I genuinely don't think we were talking to anybody. I think they thought that Flicker would turn it around as I did. We drew 3 home games where we were by far the better side (Wednesday, Donny & Charlton) so wouldn't have been in the bottom three if we could have won those. The Birmingham result obviously made their minds up. Don't think he'd have been sacked if we'd won that one.

    Well said Tyketical Masterstroke.

The forward planning wasn't much further than is nose.

and people who keep mentioning last season, we got 2 wins in the three games.
One beating the team that best us on Saturday,

You think then that they made a decision based on one result? Wow, as Flitcroft would have said.

    Ahhhh, Wigan.

The side who trounced us on the opening day.

I dared to come on here that night and suggest that Wigan were average and I was very worried with what I'd seen from us.

Others suggested Wigan were fantastic, our manager told us they'd walk the division they were that good.

4 months later we've both sacked our managers after relatively awful seasons so far.

You were bang on Andy. In fact a lot of results involving other clubs have really put our season into perspective. I know your comment earlier about it being too early to say if we lose on Saturday we are down was a little tongue-in-cheek but the way things are going we're running out of winnable games.

Maybe over the last few weeks they have been discussing the action they have currently made?

It would look/become pretty ******* difficult a task were we 9 points adrift after a home defeat to Yeovil. I know we seem to be able to beat the drop every year, but you're looking at needing to win half of your remaining games to pull it off. Were the clubs around us to perform similarly - like last year - then we'd need snookers.

Anybody heading for administration this season?

If that's true, then why are we now openly telling lies to all and sundry, assuming your scenario is correct? Why not just appoint and announce at the time?
