He just threw away his wicket proving that he is well past his best. Those 8k runs are a sign of past achievements.

Things haven't gone well for England like they would have liked. but that happens from time to time.
it's been 18 month since England last lost a test series.

The Ashes series has been very very poor for England, with absolutely nothing to be positive about, yet.

KP taking on shots like the one he has just been caught with, at such a critical part in the game and the series, is simply insane. We needed to dig in, but yet again, KP thinks he can take on the world.

My dear friend I didn't bring up pietersons past glories. Just his abject failure today and this series. By the definitions of average he is playing well below the average of any acceptable number 4 test player.

When he, or England, play well and it's enjoyable to watch, I will happily praise them.

 

He's got to be selective with his shots, especially when at a pivotal part of the game.

Ballooning one over bowlers head and into Siddle's waiting hands is not selective.......it's poor, from a so-called world class number 4.
