My dear friend I didn't bring up pietersons past glories. Just his abject failure today and this series. By the definitions of average he is playing well below the average of any acceptable number 4 test player. When he, or England, play well and it's enjoyable to watch, I will happily praise them.
He's got to be selective with his shots, especially when at a pivotal part of the game. Ballooning one over bowlers head and into Siddle's waiting hands is not selective.......it's poor, from a so-called world class number 4.
