It wasn't amazing yesterday but once again people are just having ago at the team.

I've just a look at the BBC stats for the game, 22 shots, 9 on target. 63% possession.

Of those 9 shots a lot tested there goalkeeper with Scotlands shot just over too.

Also those saying about Micky Mellon and saying this ONE game would decide if he gets the Managers position.

    I thought he was proactive.
When the ineffective McCourt goes off he changed it up and it was good.
And near the end brought M'Voto on which was a good idea and caused them problems.

My thoughts on the opponents, they were a tough team that were very physical. Wasted a lot of time and something 37% possession tells you they went from front to back very quickly. I said yesterday on here that I was very impressed with the pace of there strikers.

The thing that annoys me at Oakwell is the other fans, It's not like that away from Oakwell. Last week at burnley when there were about 700/800 fans.

This one women voice, I was another quick shout away from flipping yesterday.

Hemmsy, we only had a draw at home, against a fellow relegation team. Not good enough.

Despite the possession advantage that we had, I though Yeovil had the clearer cut chances. I agree with you, that their strikers looked very dangerous.

Their strikers looked dangerous until it came to finishing. They were woeful at that, good job too or we would have lost.

''I though Yeovil had the clearer cut chances''

Barnsley had chance after chance after chance.

I don't know what you were watching but in first half Barnsley scored and had TWO cleared off the line and there Goalkeeper made a really good save.

Second half he made three really top saves. Scotland fires over and cywka air kicked a great opportunity.

I understand it could have been a handball in second half too.

I counted 3 easy headers for Yeovil, in 2nd half.

All missed the target by inches.

So they had the more chances in one post then post they had three headers?
If they had more than surely they would have at least 5 more chances.

What are your thoughts on Cywka's blatant dive?

The "ineffective McCourt" - the one player that actually was looking like he'd do something when he got the ball.

And whilst you point to the saves their keeper made, I'll give you their 3 on 1 break that only needed rolling across the box but somehow found our defender, or the free header in the 6 yard box that he somehow put over - i.e. 2 chances where the goalkeeper was already beaten. Their goal was comical, 3 Barnsley players leaving the ball!

We got out of jail with one of the worst penalty decisions I've seen

    That was atrocious yesterday

We got lucky with a draw.

    Defensively we had no midfield.

It was a shambles regardless of what he statistics say.

Unless a new face and new ideas comes in I can't see barnsley wining more than a half dozen games between now and may.

Yeovil could have been two or three up before the penalty and still had countless chances second half not including the one they had chalked off.

The team is a disgrace with a number of players having the same kind of backbone as a jellyfish.

Look at the league table Hemsworth Tyke, more points dropped at home against a relegation rival, if you cant work out why people are fed up then its you who is clearly having a laugh

No, without hindsight of TV replays, which I'll tell you show nothing. What did you think at the time? I thought it looked very soft and would have been furious had that been against us.

Doesn't matter if we create 100 chances in a game. If you don't finish them then whats the point?

I think you are in a minority then.

    This is your opinion.

    Others are entitled to theirs.

    Respect that don't attack it.

I think we should just leave Hemsie to his own little world - you know he will harp on until he thinks he has beaten us into submission. How many letters do you send to Santa, Hemsie?

What sort of decision was starting Peds out wide, no wonder he looked pissed off. Natural out and out striker who if given decent service will score goals!! Crazy one that and sick of strikers being put out wide when we have wingers in the team!!

    Agreed! It was rubbish!

Both teams were poor. Yes their strikers looked good (one in particular, can't remember his name) but how many chances did they squander?
We might have had a lot of possession but they had way more chances. On another day we could have been on the end of a hammering.

The players just didn't look up for it for me. There's nothing I saw yesterday that suggested Micky Mellon is the man to take us forward!

We probably need a manager with more experience at this level.

Hemsworth you really don't have a clue about football do you? Yes we may have had chance after chance, but in doing so we left ourselves completly exposed at the back. Any team is going to get chances if they go all guns blazing like we did yesterday. We had no balance between defence and attack whatsoever. In fact I'd go as far as saying it was one of the most unprofessional performances I've seen from a Barnsley team. Yeovil could have comfortably won that game by 3-4 goals. If we'd have been playing a Watford, Brighton, Derby, Forest or even Huddersfield they'd have played off our desperation to score, and battered us on the counter attack all game, it would have been embarassing. In fact yesterday WAS embarassing. It felt like the day Mido came on all over again. Mansford must act this week.

I did not go to the game yesterday but the people I spoke to who went to the game said we were *****. These are diehard reds.
Out of them and yourself I take their opinion over yours.
