got the job how would you feel if he wanted to bring Chris Morgan as his number 2.My own view is I'd have no problem welcoming Danny back but I would totally be against Morgan ever being employed by BFC.
No chance. Just goes to show how a quick decision on Morgan's part, can actually ruin your career destiny. If he hadn't elbowed Hume, he would have been welcomed back to BFC as a home grown RED, who could instil passion back into the Club. But he's ****** that one up ain't he?
If Morgan was part of the package i'd rather we told Wilson where to go. I never want Morgan anywhere near our club again.
Redfearn as assistant is very plausible. Would there be a role for Shirtliff? Also, would love to see Winstanley back
I was refering to Morgan. After what hedid he shouldn't have anything to do with BFC again. However, I would welcome Wilson back.
Don't know until he gets asked. I suspect he's still quite ambitious though and a chance to come back to Oakwell with Wilson as his assistant would be in my view something he couldn't turn down. Whether that 'Dream Team' will happen, im not so sure.
More likely be Frank Barlow or someone of that ilk Morgan will stop at Sheff Utd I reckon. Bigger worry for me if it's Wilson is that folk will automatically think it's 1996 again and we'll sweep through the division with wing backs. It's going to be a slog whoever gets in the dugout, cos the fundamentals of how the club operates won't be changing. ie money.
Re: More likely be Frank Barlow or someone of that ilk I think everyone knows its going to be a slog, the team needs fettling and we are looking like certs for the drop. However,I think Danny Wilson and if possible Neil Redfern would bring back a bit of feel good factor, something we've been lacking for years.
Re: More likely be Frank Barlow or someone of that ilk After Saturday's absolute farce, I'd settle for a bit of organisation and a sign that the players knew each other and what their jobs were.
We'll see if he gets the job - expectations will rocket imho. No bad thing itself, but the reality may not be what everyone hopes for.
