Really not sure it's the right choice but let's hope our luck chances. How come no other championship team have got him if he's been doing so well in league one.
other Championship Clubs have managers in place, and the ones who don't, have much bigger budgets and will be targeting higher profile managers. given where we are as a Club right now, danny wilson is probably the best appointment we could have hoped for. this is about the least concerned I could be, given the alternative managers we could have realistically got.
Let's face it, we're adrift at the bottom of the Championship with a miniscule budget compared to other clubs. Not many managers would consider taking our job on ahead of other Championship clubs. The situation calls for experience, and not many can trump Danny on that front.
So we should have gone after someone already employed in the Championship? And we'd have the money to buy out a release? Stupid boy, Pike!
I'm not having a go, fair enough if you've got concerns, but I'm interested - who would have been your top realistic choice?
My were crazy. Honestly the last manager I want happy with was Robins and he did well although it wasn't pretty.
The position we're in means we're just not an attractive propostion to a lot of managers. Of the ones who are left I think Danny is about as good and experienced as we could hope to attract. I'm pretty happy with his appointment.
So essentially it is impossible for us to sign a manager who will make you happy because whoever we sign must be **** otherwise another championship team would have got him? Every single player we have, have ever had or will ever have is **** because otherwise another championship club would have got them?
