I avoided FH tonight for this very reason. I knew it would wind me up so thought it better to keep away.
The biggest moron was Gordon, the fan of one of the Sheffield clubs (didn't work out which one), who suggested that it was Anderson's team that got us promoted not Wilson's, even though Wilson had been in charge for 3 years by the time we went up and Anderson was only here a year. I was pretty disappointed in whoever it was presenting tonight that he didn't correct him either.
It was pretty good I thought, lots of positivity towards DW signing, couple of Tarn fans put a Fowl in his place. Is Conan the inimitable 'James' that was on at the end?
first game was against leeds at elland road. It was at oakwell.... having said that you'd be about 7 or 8 in 1989 ? whereas I was 30 at the time. Minor error compared to the Wednesday fan on earlier. Schoolboy error. Well you were at the time Bit unfair of me, sorry mate When we played the six pointers at home we turned them magically into one or no pointers. Maybe we could turn the tables in the return fixtures. Also the landscape as to which are going to be the six pointers in the second half of the season may change. Are you going on Saturday ?
As of Saturday at 5pm I had no intention of going. Now I want to go but just think that I can't justify paying £36 to watch a second tier football match. Are you going?
