All due respect Fired, that's rubbish.

Is Whitey being banned for not liking TK? Mark for not liking Keith/Flitcroft? Conan for not liking anyone?

Agree to some extent - but from a board admin point of view you just know that when HT sets off on one of his bizarre anti- Steele and/or Hassell posts then it's going to invoke reactions that take up pretty much the entire board - now that might be the point of these sites, but it must be a right ball ache to administer.

Folk need to ignore him if they disagree to that extent, I think it's fairly obvious now that he cannot be reasoned with and he himself just ignores anything that shoes him to be wrong or contradicts his points.

I don't read half of his stuff. I know what it says. But it's the same lads who read it, get wound up, respond, wind him up & then get the monk on with him.

Have a count how many times folk mention him in completely unrelated threads. They love him.

It's a bugger when someone has to be banned to stop others getting a stiff on.

Didnt see the post whats being posted but sometimes he gets too personal, I presume he did again?

At least Conan, Whitey etc etc don't get too personal.

    Exactly.

When he was banned I don't remember this place becoming some paradise or rolling back the years. There's been plenty of bell ends post on here over the years and plenty still do. What's the difference?

Dunno, he seems to get under some folks' skin. Personally I think he's a horrible fcker if some of what he's put about Steele and Hassell in partic are what he actually thinks, but I suspect he's just immature/on a wind up a lot of the time.

    But like, whatever.

He's like an itchy rash. You know that you shouldn't scratch it and if you do scratch it it'll only come back worse. But sometimes the urge is just irresistible.

For what it's worth I thought it was a duller place without him. He's a bit of a loon at times but harmless enough.

I think that's been the problem, the lack of a good shoeing. Maybe if one of his targets inflicted said shoeing, Hemmsy would become a lot more respectful and a much nicer lad as a result. Not that I'm suggesting you should get a kicking every time you speak out of turn, but I got a couple of well deserved clips when I was young and full of **** with a big mouth, and that taught me a thing or two.

Every generation in the history of human evolution has had to grow up shouting their ill informed mouth off to people face to face. We soon learned that you just can't do that without there being consequences. So we stopped being such arseholes to protect our faces. The current generation can be as big a lovely person as they like from behind their keyboards, there are no consequences to what they say, no lessons are learned and they continue to be arseholes in to adult life. I'm not saying we didn't have aresholes before, but we've got a hell of a lot more of them now.

I don't agree with banning people from a forum and as others have said you can choose to read or ignore his posts but ultimately it is the decision of admin and if they issue warnings that get ignored it doesn't leave them with much option.

    For t'record

I thought the BBS was much improved the last time he got banned, but I think he's an absolute f.cking idiot not least due to his views on the armed forces and police.

However, I don't think you should ban someone just for being a tedious fool.
